1. Tell us about your last book in one sentence.
Family isn’t whose blood runs through your veins…
2. What’s the last book you read that blew you away?
Wonder by R. J. Palacio.
3. Do you happen to have any celebrity crushes at the moment? 😉
No. I don’t crush on celebrities. I prefer to focus on women who show a warrior spirit and who have shown through their deeds how powerful a woman can be.
4. What are you most proud of as a writer?
Having my first book In The Blood of the Greeks and the companion book In The Blood of the Greeks: The Illustrated Companion be selected to be included in the Jewish Museum of Greece’s book collection located in Athens, Greece. THAT is my proudest moment.
5. What’s next for you?
I’m part of an anthology group writing about World War II resistance called The Darkest Hour. My story is “Enemy at the Gate” and introduces my main character a year before the events of my first novel In The Blood of the Greeks. I have a radio play that will be performed at the end of the year called Mabel of the Anzacs which was the last book I released. I’ve got a Christmas book coming out called Zoe’s Promise which was a radio play but now is a novella. I’m hoping to actually have time to read and enjoy the work of my favourite authors and whittle down the to-read list which has grown far too big.
A geek with too many imaginary friends who speak different languages (knew those language classes would come in handy). Historical romance and urban fantasy storyteller and addicted to stories and song about strength and courage. I play well with others (for an introvert) but then retreat to talk and write about my imaginary friends. Passionate about lots of things that inspire the mind (art/design, psychology, science and tech) that sets my muse on fire (she’s a busy lady!).
